Attie Poirier, a management consultant supporting strategic business and IT projects for federal government clients, is the Director of Brand Strategy for the American Grand Cru Society®. Her professional background includes nonprofit communications, marketing and media relations for the American Red Cross, and hospitality services in fine dining.
Attie also supports strategic marketing efforts as a Board Member for Dreams for Kids DC, a local nonprofit in Washington, DC that provides adaptive sports and social activities for children with physical and developmental disabilities. She received a Bachelors in Business Administration focusing on Marketing and International Business from the College of William and Mary in 2008.
Attie has inherited her father’s wanderlust and appreciation for good wine. She joined Greg on wine tours to the Rhone Valley and Bordeaux, and branched out on her own to explore some of Champagne’s great houses and study Italian wine appreciation during a semester abroad in Florence. In the States, she explored California’s Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley and Monterey on one of his many business trips to these iconic American wine regions.
